[Compared to most angels Kazuya knew, Kevin was actually okay. He could be overzealously scary from time to time, and Kazuya had to keep a very tight control over Bel in the angel's presence, lest he get stuck in a very awkward situation of explaining how he was simultaneously the Messiah and the King of Demons, but overall, Kevin was tolerable. The only other angel to achieve that level with Kazuya was Remiel, and even he could get annoying with his gentle attempts to make him more pious]
By the way, I'm curious... he never talks about you much, but I recall him mentioning something about you before that's been bugging me.
[He leaned towards William slightly as he spoke, his gaze intense with scrutiny. Angels didn't guard random mortals. There had to be something dangerously special about him, like with Amane or Naoya. He definitely wasn't possessed by a demon, and he wasn't Cain. So what could it be? Nothing, he sensed absolutely nothing... yet he remembered what Kevin mentioned before so clearly;
"All demons want young master."
Why was that? Demons didn't chase random mortals either. Those with strong desires, those with weak hearts, those with a use that would improve their own power... those were the qualities they chased. So what...
He briefly consulted with Bel. Or rather, he tentatively prodded the deep, dark presence that slumbered behind his breast bone. The demon obligingly looked, which was always uncomfortable, and after a moment's pause, it settled back down. Disinterested. Hm. Well, if Bel had no answers, then Kazuya will simply have to ask. He was simply burning with curiosity]
... like, he made you out to be quite popular with demons before. He even accused me of wanting to do, and I quote, "Unspeakable things" to you when I broke into the apartment the first time round. Just wondering; that a common occurrence for you? Getting horny demons chasing after you? Or does Kevin over exaggerate in that way of his?
